* The 20% fee rebate is based on OKX's current affiliate commission share. CryptoDesk passes part of OKX's affiliate commission back to you, settled in real time — OKX aggregates hourly and credits your "Affiliate Partner Center" inside OKX automatically, no manual action needed. Exchanges like OKX hand you English-only manuals and long fine print. What beginners actually lack isn't more tutorials — it's someone walking through it with them without hiding the traps. That's what CryptoDesk does. — Editorial team / founding note · April 2026

DEEP DIVE · What you may want to know before signing up

More than how to use OKX — also how to see OKX clearly

The internet has too many "OKX signup guides" and almost no one will directly answer: is OKX safe? what's its history? can I even use it where I live? These are the articles we think are more worth reading.

READER QUESTIONS · The most frequent emails

Things you'll probably want to ask before signing up

Pulled from recurring reader emails, answered directly — no spin, no exaggeration.

Is CryptoDesk an OKX official site? Does signing up through your link cost anything?

Not official. CryptoDesk is an independent third-party editorial team in an affiliate partner relationship (OKX Affiliate Partner) with OKX. We are not OKX's official site and are not owned or controlled by OKX. Signing up through our link is completely free — the affiliate commission OKX pays us comes from their marketing budget, not from your trading fees.

Are your tutorial screenshots based on OKX's latest 2026 UI? OKX changes its UI often.

Yes. Every tutorial has a Verified [month] badge at the top. When OKX makes major UI changes (sidebar restructure, KYC flow upgrades, etc.), we re-audit and update screenshots immediately. If you spot a button position that doesn't match the live UI, email us — we'll fix it within 7 days.

Why only OKX and not Binance? What if I use Binance?

Two reasons: (1) one third-party team covering 5 exchanges = every coverage stays shallow. Focusing on one exchange is the only way to reach hands-on precision. (2) OKX scores well on the dimensions we care about (PoR transparency, English/Chinese localization, product breadth). If you use Binance, most conceptual content here still applies (KYC pitfalls, deposit risk, PoR verification logic) — only the button locations differ.
